How to Use Positive Affirmations for Pregnancy and Birth

Incorporating these positive affirmations into your birth preparation and labour can be a powerful tool for creating a positive and empowering birth experience.

You can write them down and place them in a visible location, such as on your bedside table or on the wall of your birth space.

You can also say them aloud during contractions, or have your birthing partner say them to you during labour.

Don’t Forget…

It's important to remember that birth can be unpredictable, and it's okay if things don't go exactly as planned.

I planned a water birth in a birthing suite - but ended up having an emergency C Section. And that’s OK. Positive affirmations helped me throughout the whole process and I had a really positive experience!
